Flight Operations Officer
FOO provides continuous flight watch services for the airlines & follows safety and security standards
Course Objectives
The Flight Operations Officer works closely with the flight crew to develop flight plans. They examine weather data and decide on changes to flight routes. They’re also in charge of overseeing flight schedules and movement messages, often reporting any changes in flight schedules to stakeholders.
FOO provides continuous flight watch services for the airlines & follows safety and security standards. The objectives of this course for you are to be well-oriented in Airline operations and Flight Dispatch and get deep theoretical and practical knowledge on the subject.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Assist in planning flight paths, taking into account aircraft performance and loading, en-route winds, thunderstorm and turbulence forecasts, airspace restrictions, and airport conditions.
- Provide a flight following service and advise pilots if conditions change.
- Examine the mechanics' reports to make certain that the required maintenance has been completed.

- Initial Course: 6 Months
- Recurrent Course: 5 Days
A SATC Certificate will be issued after successful completion of the course & Accredit one access for a license examination with the Civil Aviation Authority.
